We had volunteers from POOPS: Pets of Older Persons visiting at Winthrop Village Shopping Centre.

POOPS is a volunteer run organisation that provides free services for elderly or disabled pet owners. They believe no one should have to give up their pet due to age, disability or poor health and their volunteers actively work to keep people with their pets for as long as possible.

Volunteers help with dog walking, transport to the vet or other appointments and care for cats, birds and even fish!

POOPS have been working tirelessly in the community since 2010 and are always looking for new clients to help and new volunteers to join the team.
